A Face
for Radio
How exactly does someone like me do YouTube?
I have what people politely describe as a face for radio and a voice that naturally lives somewhere near the bottom of the scale.
This raises a question.
Perhaps the mistake is thinking YouTube requires a face—or at least a face permanently pointed at the camera, looking enthusiastic about everything.
Maybe the van can do most of the appearing. The roads, repairs, campsites and unexpected stops can provide the pictures. I can remain somewhere nearby, supplying the deeper commentary.
It might work.
After all, radio never seemed troubled by the absence of my face.
